Paula Rose is the Coordinator of Education and Preservation at the Arabia Steamboat Museum in Kansas City, MO.  She has been passionate about museums from an early age because they bring history to life.

She also teaches art history at the Kansas City Art Institute.  Her passions include 19th-century history, modern/contemporary art, Japanese art, popular culture, and feminist art/theory.  She has shared these interests with audiences of all ages as an adjunct at Blue River Community College, Visual Specialist at JCPenney, summer camp art instructor, substitute teacher, gallery manager, and much more.  She is proud of the booming arts and culture in her native Kansas City.
